Persuasion: The Art of Getting What You Want

This book will provide a detailed yet instantly usable study of the science of persuasion and influence. Techniques will be backed up with science and psychology through interviews with appropriate cognitive neuroscientists, psychologists, and influence professionals. It won't be a book of interviews; rather each premise will be supported by hard facts and appropriate analogies.

The first section of the book will look at the difference between persuasion and manipulation as well as how people are persuaded. The second section of the book will present 17 individual persuasion tactics, how they work, and ways that they can be profitably applied. The third section of the book will demonstrate the application of persuasion in several environments including sales, copywriting, advertising, negotiation, and personal interactions.
